India's International Water Event was conceptualized in 2012 as a flagship event with the name India Water Week to address global water challenges, promote sustainable development, and showcase innovative solutions. Over the years, it has become a premier platform bringing together policymakers, researchers, industry leaders, and communities from across the globe. This event is now organized as India International Water Week (IIWW). Eight editions of the event with the name India Water Week (IWW) have been organized since the beginning in the years 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022 and 2024.
